World EXPO 2017
With the theme of this year’s World EXPO in Astana Kazakhstan focusing on the future of energy, Egypt was given a chance to show the world the true potential of its vast natural resources. Throughout history, the Egyptian civilization has exploited the use of natural resources for survival and progress. Bloc consultants and Bino, an Egyptian design studio, collaborated on a design proposal aiming to create a unique and memorable experience for the 2017 EXPO Egyptian pavilion.
The main goal of the design concept for this pavilion was to show Egypt’s future potential of harnessing clean renewable energies, which would help attract investments interested in the field. In addition, the project wishes to inspire through creating an exceptional design piece, reflecting the energy future of Egypt in all senses.
